About
Limited Edition of 100

Tomato Bowl (2003) is an example of artist Wayne Thiebaud’s talents as a still life painter. With the incredible talent of drawing attention to everyday objects’ intimacy and beauty, this piece harnesses that same sense of nostalgia that Thiebaud has become known for. Rather than sweet confectionery or ice-cream cones, however, here we see the juicy skin of the tomatoes catching the light in an almost mouthwatering way.

This solo – rendered as a limited skateboard art edition, is part of our Wayne Thiebaud collection – is created in partnership with the Fondation Beyeler and Acquavella Galleries. There are just 100 available. By acquiring this edition you create change; 10% of all revenue goes towards Concrete Jungle Foundation’s global EduSkate program.

What is a COA ?

CoA is short for certificate of authenticity. CoA’s are either signed by the artist or THE SKATEROOM in order to validate the editions. It is specificized on each product page if a CoA is provided with the edition.
