Lamyxer, Handsigned
A printed, limited edition of LAMYXER, originally a skateboard sculpture by Marc LESCHELIER. This piece renders Michèle LAMY vomiting cement. An image which she herself praises as symbolic of the social impact of the event itself: building a concrete skatepark for at-risk youth in Tameslouht, Morocco.
LESCHELIER is one of the artist from the infamous LAMYLAND collective formed by the legendary Michèle LAMY, internationally renowned creative hyphenate, and co-founding Partner & Executive Manager of Art/Furniture Owenscorp.
This edition of 5 was created for our WHAT ARE WE SKATING FOR? event in April 2022.

About the Artist

Marc LESCHELIER (1984) is working between the field of sculpture and architecture, he is building pavilions and architectural artifacts in experimental conditions. Marc lives, works and teaches architecture in Paris. His work explores directness in the construction process and the idea of non-functional architecture. Starting from a refutation of construction as a rational enterprise, the work reduces its domain to an elementary, instinctive and irrational approach.
