‘Women Are Heroes’ is a project launched by French artist JR to tell the stories of those who are often the first to be harmed in situations of conflict: Women. By revealing the unspoken grief of these unsung heroes, JR explores the commonalities that exist in their gaze, and ultimately seeks to discover what unifies us all: Humanity. Despite the harshness they have endured, he exposes the light and hope that still exists within them.
When the project launched, JR promised to share their stories with the world – a promise he has since kept, and that we are grateful to continue through the release of these editions.

CoA is short for certificate of authenticity. CoA’s are either signed by the artist or THE SKATEROOM in order to validate the editions. It is specificized on each product page if a CoA is provided with the edition.
You have up to 14 days after receiving your order to request a return. The 14-day return policy is applicable on all products except limited hand-signed editions.
Once you have informed us of your request, we will provide you with a return label so you can easily send us back the product in the same condition as when received, accompanied by the original packaging and documentation.
