In High Pressure, Jen DeLuna expands her visual language across a three-deck composition, presenting a fragmented portrait that stretches across multiple panels. The face is partially obscured and distorted, as if compressed or pulled apart, creating a powerful sense of tension and instability.
The triptych format reinforces the psychological intensity of the image. Each panel captures a different fragment of the face, forcing the viewer to reconstruct the subject while confronting the emotional pressure embedded in the composition.
