We’re proud to announce the second skatepark we’ve helped bring to life this year, made possible thanks to our artists, collectors, and partners.
This is the very first skatepark in El Tránsito, Nicaragua. Built with and for the local community, the park is a beautiful, welcoming space featuring mosaics and painted details, a BBQ area, benches to gather, and a small extension ramp. The project was led by the team at NGO Wonders Around The World, working hand in hand with local residents.
From day one, the kids have made the park their own. It’s become a place to meet, skate, learn, and build new friendships. In just a week, their confidence on a board has already grown visibly.
This is the concrete impact behind every edition purchased at THE SKATEROOM: creating safe, shared spaces where communities can come together, have fun, and develop new skills through skateboarding.
