TSR Weekly Round-up: 30/08/21

Welcome back to our Weekly Round-up, where we give you the lowdown on all the latest developments from the social skate and conscious art worlds. It’s been a heavy-duty week for us, with a lot to get ready before one of the biggest dates in the Belgian Contemporary Art calendar: Brussels Gallery Weekend. We hope to see you there. South African artist presents his new collection at our Gallery

Brussels Gallery Weekend is less than a week away, and that means we’re busy getting things ready for our new collection unveiling. Meanwhile, Robin Rhode, the artist in collaboration, is packing his bags ready to make the trip to Brussels where he will be officially presenting his limited edition art editions and a few very, very exclusive hand-made skateboards. THE INCREDIBLE STORIES OF KEITH HARING IN BELGIUM AND NETHERLANDS

Join us on a deep dive into the NYC icon’s trip to the Lowlands.

Keith Haring, the NYC icon, created murals in our homelands; he exhibited in galleries in the likes of Amsterdam, Antwerp and Knokke; the inspiring stories of his generosity, dedication and how his work escaped those galleries and found life on the streets, are all around us. CONCRETE JUNGLE FOUNDATION OPENS NEW SKATEPARK

After weeks of building, Peru’s locals are unleashed on their new spot

It’s been an awesome few weeks following Concrete Jungle Foundation’s progress with the new skatepark in Peru. We even sent a few of our team out there to join them, so expect a lot more content from that trip coming soon. In the meantime, you can find out all about this project on CJF website.


BASQUIAT PAINTING THAT STARS IN BEYONCE AND JAY-Z'S NEW TIFFANY AD

The painting is due to go on display at Tiffany's Fifth Avenue flagship in New York

Did you hear about this? For its flashy new “About Love” campaign, which is already tearing its way across the Internet, Tiffany & Co. has raised the game: not only did the company recruit two of the most famous people in the world to star, it also incorporated a Basquiat painting it recently acquired for, sources say, well into the eight figures.
