Hot Dog
Time-Limited Edition
In this colorful solo edition, Jon BURGERMAN plays with the form of a skateboard deck. When you think about it, it really is shaped like a hot dog.
This elongated pink character was created using oil sticks and spray paint. Its body, drizzled with a mustard yellow zigzag, sports an adorable, if ever so slightly uncertain smile. The expression is made all the more haunting thanks to the black splattered pupils. Like with most of the artist’s works, the piece is a playful take on a deeper emotional exploration.
