This 8.25” skate deck features a close up of Michèle LAMY’s iconic golden grill, photographed by Juergen TELLER for Modern Matter Magazine.
At wider dimensions and a higher quantity than THE SKATEROOM’s limited editions, this solo deck is an accessible artwork that’s designed to be skated. It launched exclusively during ComplexCon at our skate-able booth and is an homage to the culture which we sprung from – a culture Michèle Lamy remains an iconoclastic patron of.

Buying guide
These editions of artwork are intended for decorative purposes. While you could definitely skate on them if you wanted to, we provide you with one wall mount per deck to hang them on your wall, just like a painting.
Of course, every single skateboard in the world is produced with 8 holes – this is standard! Since we keep it real, this also applies to your art edition. Every single edition displayed on our website clearly illustrates these holes as well.
As a gentle reminder, these holes are also necessary for you to be able to hang your editions on the wall – either 2 holes for vertical editions, or 4 holes for horizontal artworks. Without them, this would simply not be possible.
We make a commitment to the organizations we fund: at least 10% of all revenue at THE SKATEROOM goes directly to creating social change. We help empower youth around the world, build new skateparks and develop education facilities & resource programs. By buying limited editions from THE SKATEROOM, our collectors & community have a direct role in creating lasting social change. Together, we work towards a brighter future for consumerism.
Since the start of our project in 2014, we have proudly funded more than $1,00,000 in support of various social projects empowering youth and children around the world.
