Painted in 2002, Wayne Thiebaud’s Jolly Cones is a late exploration of the nostalgic American-ism of confectionery and candy that the artist became so known for throughout his career. Thiebaud’s continuous work depicting cakes, pinball machines and ice cream cones have become an important part of the postwar artistic canon.

This diptych, rendered as a limited skateboard art edition, is part of our Wayne Thiebaud collection, and created in partnership with Fondation Beyeler and Acquavella Galleries.
