Inès LONGEVIAL favours self-portrait, exploring the human body with a lot of poetry and a lot of colour. Revered as a ‘sensitive artist’, her world often moves beyond painting. Inès has been working on face close-ups for years, finding them particularly beautiful in their scratched treatment, as they will appear on the skateboards.
It is here, as with THE SKATEROOM, Inès’ work as an illustrator comes to life through creative collaborations with carefully chosen partners, in Inès own words, ‘The collaboration between THE SKATEROOM and Hôtel de Crillon, in the midst of this important sporting period, struck me as both moving and inspiring commitment to charity.’
