Ai Weiwei's

Seeds HS

1500

This artwork is directly inspired from his iconic installation Sunflower Seeds, which opened in London at the Tate Modern in 2010.
The installation illustrates how the globalization and mass production in China feeds western consumerism, and pays tribute to the insignificant element at the bottom of the production chain: Cheap labors working at assembly lines in gigantic factories: a form of modern slavery.
