ROA has ensured freedom for both his work and his spirit through maintained anonymity.

Very little is known about the artist, and even less is documented, however his strong obsession for animals and rodents is his most recognizable trait. ROA draws inspiration from the native wild life around him to paint his murals at any given location, setting him further apart from his contemporaries.

The Decay series selected for this Collaboration with ROA represents a cornerstone of the artist’s work. Like a modern da Vinci, he explores the anatomy of his creatures as well as the biological process of decomposition.

Through our collaboration with ROA, we have donated $7,500 of our total goal of $15,000 to fund Skateistan’s Skate & Create program in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This donation is the equivalent to providing educational programs for up to 480 students in Cambodia for 2 months.
