The Cow Skateboard Editions
Andy Warhol's Cow Wallpaper was the first in a series of wallpaper designs he created from the 1960s to the 1980s. According to Warhol, the inspiration for the work came from art dealer Ivan Karp who encouraged the artist to explore the pastoral image of a cow. Colored in blazing pink & yellow, the wallpaper promptly showed up at Warhol’s shows, pasted all over gallery walls."I never met an animal I didn't like." – Andy Warhol
The Dollar Skateboard Editions
Warhol’s ‘Dollar Bills’ was a breakthrough series of 1961, and 20 years on Warhol revisited the subject, accentuating the elegant form of the dollar symbol.
