Our collaboration

Steven Harrington is a Los Angeles-based artist and designer credited as the leader of contemporary California psychedelic-pop aesthetic. Harrington’s iconic and bright style encourages a two-way conversation between the artist and viewer. His playful yet contemplative work is heavily influenced by California’s mystique, vastly diverse landscape, and thriving mix of cultures, attributing his art with a timeless quality.

Embracing a multimedia approach, Harrington’s portfolio includes large-scale installations made of plaster and stone, hand screened prints, limited-edition books, skateboards, and sculptures. Harrington has exhibited artworks around the world.

THE SKATEROOM’s collaboration with Jeremyville & Friends is our first series dedicated to graphics and illustration – fields that have consistently inspired skate and DIY culture. This collaboration brings together Jeremyville, Jean Jullien, and Steven Harrington.

In addition to contributing $15,000 to fund Make Life Skate Life’s Suli Skatepark in Iraq, the artists also created and donated 350 coloring books to Skateistan’s “Skate and Create” program, in which students in Afghanistan, Cambodia, and South Africa explore human rights, cultural studies, and the environment through art.
