As a company that strives to improve the lives of others through social projects around the world, we felt it was time to give back to our local community.
On the 18th of July, we launched The Bruxsel Project, a special collaboration with Belgian artists for a Belgian cause. Every week, one to two artists take over our gallery as their personal workshop and create original artworks on skateboards. Every thursday, we hold an open event where the artists can showcase their work and the public can take these pieces home. For this project, 50% of the sales will fund skateboarding lessons for underprivileged children in Brussels.
Last night, we were grateful to artist, Arnaud Kool, for opening the event with us and bringing the Belgian community together. Next Thursday we welcome SEBAL. Here’s to giving back and taking care of each other!
