Renowned Swiss artist Claudia COMTE explores the flowing rhythm of structures and biomorphic forms in a first-of-its-kind collaboration between design icon USM and THE SKATEROOM.
The bespoke collection of modular furniture and skateboard art editions features some of the artist’s most renowned and thought provoking works, celebrating the language of shapes and its power to communicate that which goes beyond the written word. This unique collection includes not only three distinct visuals of 50 skateboard art edition triptychs each, but also a larger USM Haller skateboard shelving solution which will be displayed in Milan.
The language of natural forms
There is a powerful subtlety in Claudia COMTE’s visual world building. Drawing inspiration from natural morphology and comic book aesthetics, her work is a bold commentary on the ecological crisis, as well as society’s insincere and often performative attitudes towards it. The iconography of this collection evokes desert landscapes, jungles as well as the artist’s signature zigzag patterns which represent a reflective gliding through past, present and future times.
Claudia COMTE’s social and environmental responsibility shines through the collection. THE SKATEROOM is amplifying this impact through donating a substantial part of the revenue to Seven Hills – the social project empowering at-risk youth in Jordan through skateboarding.

Creating a safe skate-heaven for Jordan’s youth
Claudia COMTE’s social and environmental responsibility shines through the collection. THE SKATEROOM is amplifying this impact through donating a substantial part of the revenue to the non-profit organization Seven Hills.
Seven Hills develops safe and inclusive skateparks and public spaces, runs free-of-charge skateboarding sessions, informal education and arts programming for all youth from Jordan’s diverse demographics. Skateboarding has impacted the lives of countless people — boys and girls of all ages, from every walk of life. It is, at its most fundamental, an exercise in resilience.
