Chéri Samba @ the Zeitz MOCAA

On the 27th of September the Zeitz MOCAA officially opened its doors. This previous Grain Silo is now the biggest Contemporary Museum of African Art on the continent, with 100 galleries spread over nine floors. The bulk of the artworks are on loan and part of Jochen Zeitz’s collection, the previous CEO of Puma. The collaboration is a long term loan, where pieces will be exhibited alongside the museum’s permanent collection. Chéri Samba is part of the adventure, as his work is on display in the permanent collection, representing the Democratic Republic of Congo.
