This collaboration between THE SKATEROOM and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts draws on Warhol’s iconic art across different periods of his career. Through his work, Andy Warhol redefined the way we see the world by turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. He also firmly believed that change was only possible if a person sought it out, rather than a natural occurrence of its own – a value shared at THE SKATEROOM.

The collaboration between THE SKATEROOM, The Jean-Michel Basquiat Foundation and Artestar draws on BASQUIAT’s iconic paintings from the early 1980s. It also brings street art full-circle, connecting the artist’s graffiti from the 1970s to Skateistan’s promotion of contemporary global skate culture.

Keith Haring was a force in the downtown New York art scene, creating some of the most iconic imagery of the 20th century. Beginning with spontaneous drawings in New York City’s subways, he launched a brief but intense career that spanned the 1980s—his work was featured in more than 100 solo and group exhibitions, and soon exploded into the American popular consciousness.

In 2020, THE SKATEROOM collaborated with internationally acclaimed American artist Raymond Pettibon, David Zwirner Gallery, and MoMA Design Store to offer two iconic editions inspired by works from The Museum of Modern Art’s (MoMA) collection. In this first collaboration, we explored the artist’s surfer-themed works to release two limited editions of 250.

Louise Bourgeois (b. Paris, 1911, d. New York, 2010) is one of the most influential artists of the past century. Using the body as a primary form, she explored the full range of human experience. From intimate drawings to large-scale installations, created from a variety of materials including wood, plaster, marble, and bronze, Bourgeois expressed psychological states through a visual vocabulary of formal and symbolic equivalents.

To raise funds for social skateboarding projects benefiting at-risk youth, THE SKATEROOM and Yoshitomo NARA bring you 3 time-limited editions featuring the artist’s trademark neo-pop visuals during a large solo exhibition at the LACMA (Los Angeles) in 2020. This exhibition will also travel around the globe to the Yuz Museum (Shanghai, China) in 2022.

Jeff KOONS is an American artist whose work examines popular culture, often in the form of paintings and sculptures that transform everyday images and objects into works of art that engage the viewer. Most recognizable among these are his balloon animals produced in stainless steel with mirror-finish surfaces.
